I enjoy the practice immensely; the team is close-knit and sociable, which makes it a nice working atmosphere. Everyone, like me, likes to make sure that the care for the pregnant is really well organized. In this we like to complement each other.
Since 2011 I have been part of Pregnant & Zo,since 2013 I have been co-owner of the practice and in 2015 I completed my training as an ultrasound technician.
In 2021, I became a mother of my own to my baby son Oliver! I am a huge fan of bath births and started my own delivery in the bath as well. You can ask me all about this!
What I love about midwifery?
What I love most about working as a midwife is getting to know the parents-to-be and guiding them on their path to parenthood. The birth of the baby is such a beautiful and intimate moment every time. I always feel honored that I can be there!
As a midwife you have the advantage of being able to work throughout the city. I love the city of Rotterdam and during my work I visit the most special and new places in Rotterdam. This is something I enjoy!
In my free time I do like to get out of the city and into nature; kitesurfing, hiking or snowboarding is what I like to do.
